RN / Registered Nurse - Hospice Admissions Overview Adoration Hospice is seeking a passionate, dedicated Hospice Admissions Registered Nurse to join our team in Murfreesboro, TN. Our hospice RNs provide expert, patient‑centered care at a critical time in people's lives. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Responsibilities Visit patients (in homes, hospitals, nursing facilities, etc.) who are referred for hospice care. Explain hospice services, discuss goals of care with the patient and families, answer questions, and obtain necessary consents and legal documents. Obtain medical history, current medications, and symptom information. Perform comprehensive clinical assessments to determine eligibility for hospice based on Medicare/insurance guidelines. Coordinate the start of services (nursing, aides, equipment, medications). Collaborate with interdisciplinary team. Maintain accurate and timely documentation. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing school with current licensure to practice in the state of operation. One year of hospice nursing experience required, 3+ years preferred, or similar setting such as long‑term care, intensive care, or emergency room considered in place of hospice experience.
