Ultrasound Diagnostic ServicesAxia Women's Health is the nation's largest community-based, integrated women's health network in the country serving women throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Kentucky. Together, Axia Women's Health puts women first by delivering the personalized care needed for women to lead healthier, happier lives.Location: Carmel, Westfield and Noblesville, IN.Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00 am-4:30 pm and Friday 8:00 am-3:30 pm. No Call, No Nights, No WeekendsPosition DescriptionProvides ultrasound diagnostic services as directed by physicians including scheduling, patient care during procedure and communication with patients.Performs routine and diagnostic ultrasound images.Interacts with physicians and other technical staff to provide quality, safe and efficient care for the patient.Follows guidelines for probe handling and infection control.Follows examination protocols under the guidance of the physicians on duty.Oversees patient scheduling.Explains procedures to assure cooperation and optimum test results.Positions patients, selects appropriate transducers and machine settings.Conducts scanning procedures.Ensures maintenance on ultrasound equipment.Orders and stocks all ultrasound supplies.Maintains all ultrasound records, reports and files.Demonstrates flexibility and responsiveness in handling all customer interactions.Performs all other duties as may be assigned from time-to-time.Minimum Education/ExperienceAssociates Degree or equivalent from two-year college/technical school.Three to four years of directly related experience will be accepted in lieu of Associates Degree at the discretion of the practice.and 1 to 2 years related/applicable experience.Licensure/CertificationCertification is required: Current ARDMS or eligibleCurrent CPR certificationEmployment RequirementsPromotes a positive and professional image of Axia Women's Health.Maintains confidentiality of all patient, business and employee information as required by current legal regulation and Company policies and procedures.Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations as may be required.Attends all meetings as requested.Attends all required in-service education, including but not limited to: hazardous materials, fire/safety, and OSHA.Maintains attendance and tardiness and notification to supervisor within the established guidelines of the practice or department.Maintains work area in a clean, orderly and in a manner compliant with all regulations.Benefits:Full time benefit-eligibility beginning the first of the month after startingChoice of multiple medical insurance plans to best meet your needsAdditional insurance options including dental, vision, supplemental life insurance, FSA, HSA w/ employer contribution, identity theft, long term care, pet insurance and more!401(k) with company matchGenerous PTO offering with additional time off for volunteeringAccess to Axia providers at little to no cost through Axia's medical insuranceAxia-paid life insurance, short term and long term disabilityFree counseling for colleagues and family members, including parents and parents-in-lawAccess to discount on Hotels, Theme Parks, Gym Memberships, and more through the Great Works Perks ProgramAt Axia Women's Health, we're passionate about creating a community where our colleagues and patients feel empowered to be their full, authentic selves.
