Hospice On‑Call Nurse Responsibilities Emergency Response: Provide skilled nursing interventions to manage symptoms, pain, and urgent needs during evening and overnight hours. Telephonic Support: Offer compassionate, knowledgeable guidance to families and caregivers over the phone. Care Coordination: Work with the interdisciplinary team to ensure smooth, coordinated care transitions. Emotional Comfort: Provide emotional and psychological support during end‑of‑life moments.
