Position is Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm with the ability to work additional hours as needed.

The Finance and Business Analyst 3 will serve as a subject matter expert to support a variety of the bank's financial analysis activities which may include budgeting, forecasting, capital investment analysis, peer benchmarking, and financial statement analysis. The ideal candidate will have prior work experience in financial budgeting and forecasting. The Finance and Business Analyst 3 will be responsible for a variety of financial and business activities including financial and data analyses, complex financial model development and maintenance, budgeting, forecasting and developing Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. The incumbent will also be responsible for leading significant projects including working collaboratively with business partners to ensure outcomes that align with strategic objectives. Technical subject matter expertise is expected from this role for specific data sets, analyses, models, forecasts, etc.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

1. Understand and facilitate the integration of business process, people, and relevant technology, in order to identify, configure, communicate and report useful data, and to provide practical business leadership to drive business decision making across the company.
2. Collaborate directly with business partners to lead discussions and determine requirements necessary to track and measure Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Key Risk Indicators (KRI).
3. Assist with a variety of financial and business activities including, but not limited to, financial analyses, budgeting, forecasting, strategic decision support, business intelligence, performance measurement, incentive calculations, modeling and activity costing.
4. Exhibit insightful use of financial analysis techniques, tools, and concepts, to provide practical solutions and proposals to business partners and management to drive business results.
5. Analyze financial reports, models, analytic tools, charts, tables and other exhibits, ensuring quality, accuracy and focused analytic review, and be able to provide executive summaries to support results.
6. Subject matter expertise is expected from this role for specific data sets, analyses, models, etc.
7. Investigate and report to management any inconsistencies or improprieties found in financial analysis, modeling, budgeting, forecasting, measurements, trend date, etc.
8. Proactively anticipates and prevents problems and seeks out value add projects and assignments.
9. Determine scope and resource requirements of project requests and ensure projects are prioritized and completed.
10. Work with applicable departments to coordinate support requirements.
11. Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are maintained and inventoried.
12. Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

Qualification requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Math or Statistics or equivalent work experience required.
• 5 years of experience with financial analysis and modeling, banking, benchmark, productivity, performance measurements or Business Intelligence (BI) analytic practices or equivalent required.
• Understanding of general accounting and finance concepts and terminology required.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills required.
• Certification or experience in Project Management, Process Improvement or Financial Analysis preferred.
• Master's Degree preferred.

Pay Range: $89250 - $111560 per year
