Hospice is a special kind of caring that is person and family centered and seeks to provide support and comfort to those facing a life limiting illness. Volunteers play a large role in this effort by sharing their skills and interests in a manner that enriches the quality of life for those they serve.
We desire compassionate and caring individuals who can provide companionship to hospice patients in their homes or nursing facilities. A companionship volunteer provides comfort and emotional support by talking with the patient, reading, doing activities, or simply being present. We need people like you to be a friend to those in need!
