Job Description Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join our client's team in Palm Beach Gardens. This is a direct hire, full-time position offering a competitive salary in the range of $60,000 to $80,000. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, performing routine accounting tasks, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data. This role is 100% onsite and requires a strong foundation in accounting principles and practices. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and journal entries. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments. Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded. Support the month-end and year-end close processes. Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial data. Monitor and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and variances. Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in accounting or a related field. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
