Housing Case Manager

Housing Case Manager LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Housing Case Manager for our nonprofit client located in the Long Beach area. This role will be a contract opportunity and a full-time, 100% onsite role with some field work involved. The role will be focused on helping our client's program participants to get immediate medical attention as needed, both mental and physical, any necessary documentation, and help them to create long term goals in order to eventually move into a more stable housing environment. Interested candidates must feel comfortable working with the homeless demographic. This includes individuals who may be experiencing mental health and/or substance abuse ailments. Requirements Bachelor's Degree Required Minimum 2 years experience working within case management and/or social services Must have a valid Driver's License and clean driving record Proficient within Microsoft Office and preferably HMIS Skills Strong compassion and empathy for others, while being able to remain professional and create boundaries Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to de-escalate high pressure situations in a calm and resolving manner Able to work well with others in a team environment and also work independently as needed Ability to work within different software systems Pay Details: $23.00 to $27.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
