Nurse Practitioner, Hospitalist

Indiana University Medical Group is hiring! Our dynamic Hospitalist group has an opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team.

Opportunity Details

• Full-time, Night Shift
  • The primary site for this position will be Methodist Hospital , may flex to University Hospital .
  • There is an opportunity for additional hours at IU North Hospital and IU West
  • 3-12-hour shifts; 6p-6a
  • No Call
• 100% Inpatient

Patient Population:

• Complex patient population
• Complete overnight admissions and provide on-call coverage for inpatients
• Medicine consults for subspecialty services
• Co-management with subspecialty service including Ortho, Neurosurgery, Cardiology, PVS/CVS, Go, Urology, Nephrology, Etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Complex patient population
• Complete overnight admissions
• Provide call coverage for inpatients and provide medicine consults for subspecialty services

Qualifications

• Master's degree required
• Must be board certified or eligible
• ACNP, AGNP, FNP, or PA certification required
• 1-2 years of experience preferred
• Ideal candidate will have experience as an NP/PA
• If NP, would prefer critical care nursing experience
