Vice President VP Procurement - Tier 1 Automotive

Our client is a global company and a major Automotive Tier One Supplier.Due to a retirement, there is an immediate need to attract a Vice President of Procurement for North America who will serve as the senior executive responsible for developingand executing the procurement, sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimization strategy, as a strategic member of the executive leadership team.This job is based in El Paso Texas, with minimal travel expected to Canada and Mexico. Relocation will be provided.Superior compensation, work environment, benefits, and growth path.Requirements15+ years of progressive Procurement and Supply Chain leadership experience.Degree, either engineering, business, or finance related ideally8+ years in a senior leadership or executive procurement role managing large teams and complex supplier networks.Proven track record in delivering multimillion-dollar cost savings, procurement transformation, and supplier performance improvements.Electrical or electronic products procurement experience*** Extensive experience within the Automotive Tier 1 supply base is required.Strong understanding of OEM requirements and automotive manufacturing environments.Deep familiarity with IATF 16949 quality requirements and automotive supply chain standards.Deep understanding of global supply chain management, procurement analytics, and risk mitigation.Demonstrated success leading procurement transformation and organizational change initiatives.Strong financial acumen and commercial decision-making capabilities.Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
