Director of Nursing (DON)The Paramount at Somers Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated nursing leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional care, mentoring staff, and driving positive clinical outcomes.As the Director of Nursing, you will oversee all nursing operations, inspire a culture of excellence, and play a key role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents.What You'll DoDirect and oversee all aspects of the Nursing Department.Ensure the delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care.Lead, coach, and develop nursing managers and staff.Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.Monitor clinical programs, quality measures, and infection prevention initiatives.Partner with the interdisciplinary team to improve resident outcomes and satisfaction.Support recruitment, retention, and staff engagement efforts.Oversee department budgets and effective resource utilization.Lead survey preparation efforts and manage regulatory inspections.Implement initiatives that promote operational excellence and continuous improvement.What We're Looking ForCurrent and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York.Minimum of three years of nursing leadership experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care setting.Previous experience as a Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, or senior nursing leader preferred.Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, survey processes, and quality improvement initiatives.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to inspire teams and build a positive, resident-focused culture.Commitment to clinical excellence and exceptional customer service.Why Join The Paramount at Somers?Competitive salary up to $180,000 per yearMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holiday pay401(k) retirement planOpportunities for professional growth and advancementSupportive executive leadership teamCollaborative and team-oriented work environmentOpportunity to make a meaningful impact on residents and staff every daySchedule: Monday–Friday with on-call responsibilities as needed.
