Maintenance Mechanic Pay: Based on ExperienceLocation: Tulsa, OK 74117
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire
Job Order #: 123850 Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to lead and support industrial maintenance operations in a heavy production environment. The Maintenance Mechanic will oversee troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance programs while promoting a strong safety-first culture and ensuring maximum equipment uptime. Leadership & Oversight
- Supervise maintenance technicians and assign daily work orders
- Ensure maintenance tasks are completed safely and efficiently
- Provide hands-on support with complex troubleshooting and repairs
- Oversee preventative and predictive maintenance programs
- Maintain accurate documentation of work orders and service reports
- Monitor equipment performance and proactively schedule repairs
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Guide dismantling, repairing, and reassembling of industrial machinery
- Use precision measuring and diagnostic instruments to identify root causes
- Enforce OSHA, LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), and PPE requirements
- Train staff on safe work practices and equipment handling
- Conduct safety audits and maintain a clean work environment
- 3-5+ years of industrial maintenance experience (heavy equipment or manufacturing preferred)
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and electrical systems
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Technical certifications or trade school training preferred
- Leadership or supervisory experience highly preferred
- Ability to operate hoists, cranes, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Pay based on experience
