Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery, Poughkeepsie, NY. This position supports a high-risk labor and delivery unit, providing care during alternating night shifts based on unit needs. Weekend shifts may be required.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: New York State nursing license; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification; National Certification Corporation (NCC) Certified Electronic Fetal Heart Monitorin (C-EFM) certification within one year of the first assignment; Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) intermediate fetal monitoring certification; at least 3 years of current labor and delivery experience; and at least 2 years of high-risk obstetric experience or experience circulating for cesarean sections and working in a post-anesthesia care or recovery room setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Obstetric triage experience.
• Additional Information: Clinical responsibilities may include supporting high-risk labor and delivery patients, circulating for cesarean sections, and providing care in recovery settings. Assignment dates are 11/16/2026 through 02/20/2027.
