Role Description The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and ongoing management for individuals experiencing a range of mental health conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting thorough assessments, developing evidence-based treatment plans, prescribing and managing psychotropic medications, and delivering therapeutic interventions as appropriate. The PMHNP will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary care team to coordinate services, ensure continuity of care, and support patient safety and recovery. Additional tasks include documenting all encounters in the EHR, monitoring treatment progress, educating patients and families on mental health conditions and treatment options, and adhering to all regulatory, ethical, and organizational standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dacula, GA. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Mental Health Nursing and Nursing to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Candidates should possess expertise as Nurse Practitioners with advanced clinical training in psychiatric and mental health settings. Candidates should possess skills in Mental Health Care to assess, treat, and support individuals across the spectrum of mental health conditions. Candidates should possess competencies in Psychiatric Care, including diagnostic evaluation, medication management, and crisis intervention. Current, unrestricted RN license and PMHNP certification, with eligibility for licensure and prescriptive authority in Georgia. Experience providing psychiatric services in outpatient or integrated care settings, preferably using telehealth and EHR systems. Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
