Superintendent | Commercial Construction | Austin / San Antonio
We are working with a reputable commercial general contractor that is actively seeking an experienced Superintendent to support projects across the Central Texas market.
This is a field leadership role overseeing a strong pipeline of commercial work, starting with a
$30M+ ground-up manufacturing facility , with additional projects following in both Austin and San Antonio.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead all on-site construction activities from start through completion
- Manage field operations, subcontractors, and site logistics
- Maintain project schedules and drive timely delivery
- Coordinate with Project Managers and design teams
- Ensure safety compliance and enforce OSHA standards
- Run subcontractor meetings and manage day-to-day field execution
- Maintain quality control and resolve field issues proactively
What They’re Looking For
- 5+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction
- Proven track record on projects $10M+
- Strong background in one or more of the following:
- Corporate office / tenant improvement (TI)
- Healthcare (clinics, MOBs, occupied renovations)
- Industrial / manufacturing / tilt-wall construction
- Retail or commercial ground-up projects
- Experience managing fast-paced job sites and multiple subcontractors
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools
Location & Travel
- Must be based in or near:
- Austin, San Antonio, or surrounding Central Texas areas (New Braunfels, San Marcos, Lockhart, Wimberley preferred)
- Must be open to travel between Austin and San Antonio project sites
Compensation
- $160K – $170K Base Salary
