Customer Consultant – Budtender (Full Time) Chicago, IL – 612 N Wells Street. Responsibilities Assist customers and offer one‑on‑one consultations on product selection based on deep understanding of dispensary’s product offerings, working closely with a management team. Serve as a trusted advisor to customers about cannabis products, their profiles, and routes of administration. Complete sales transactions, enter records into POS and state verification system accurately, handle money, manage codes under compliance regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of store including front‑ and back‑end operations. Engage customers to understand wellness needs, recommend products, and promote a culture of compliance. Partner with all departments and adapt to front‑line and back‑end operational duties. Other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in hospitality, cannabis, or retail field. Strong communication skills; ability to interact at all levels. Accountable, balanced decision‑making, proactive action, detail oriented. Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Must pass a background check. Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid state ID or license. Must be compliant with all city and state regulations for working in the industry. Capable of walking/standing for extended periods. Willing to work opening, closing, and weekend shifts as needed; flexibility for travel when necessary.
