Registered Nurse – Operating Room
Schedule
8-hour days, Monday to Thursday, 0700-1630, plus call.
Assignment Details
Guaranteed Hours: 40/week Contract Weeks: 13
Requirements
- Current RN license
- 2 years of circulating experience in the OR
- Experience in endoscopies, general surgery, orthopedics, urology, and podiatry preferred
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Experience with Oracle/Cerner EMR preferred
- Travel experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care before, during, and after surgery
- Assist in surgical procedures as a circulating nurse
- Monitor patient conditions and provide post-operative care
- Coordinate with surgical teams and ensure safety measures are followed
- Deliver quality patient education and support
