Job Description
Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a contract position. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work flexible shifts, including both day and night shifts, with a schedule that may vary every two weeks. The primary responsibility will involve providing respiratory care to patients, specifically in the NICU and pediatric environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients in various settings.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and assess patient responses to respiratory therapies.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document care provided.
• Participate in orientation and training programs as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• At least 1 year of recent experience in a NICU and pediatric care setting.
• Current BLS, PALS, ACLS certifications.
• NBRC certification for RRT is required.
• NRP certification is preferred.

Work Schedule:

Candidates must be available to work both day and night shifts. There is a requirement for weekend shifts as needed, which could include assignments every weekend. Holiday shifts may also be required.

Contract Length:

This position is for a duration of 26 weeks.

Additional Information:

• Orientation is considered billable and will be scheduled prior to the start of the contract.
• Weekly payroll is provided.
