Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Emergency Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Monitor and evaluate patient conditions, reporting changes to the care team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Participate in patient triage utilizing professional clinical judgement.
• Coordinate with other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in North Carolina or compact state.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required before starting.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level II trauma center or high volume ED.
• Previous experience with Cerner documentation system preferred.
• Must possess strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work in all areas of the emergency department.
