Electrical Project Engineer – Sustaining Product Development (SPD) Work mode: Hybrid – 3 days on site Location: N7650 County Rd LS, Sheboygan, WI, 53083 Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring new or transfer visa sponsorship now or in the future. Basic Function Lead or support implementation of electrical components or electronic systems on Rehlko generator platforms, including validation, testing, and postproduction support. Develop and execute test specifications and test procedures to validate or verify component or system function. Work with cross‑functional teams to implement electrical and controls systems. Troubleshoot failures and work with suppliers to resolve issues. Make recommendations for product improvements. Develop and implement special electronics systems as needed for testing. Role Responsibilities Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs, applying knowledge of electricity and materials. Participate in design reviews and design FMEAs. Assist with vendor investigation of root cause analysis for failed components. Contribute to lessons learned methodology and continuous process improvement. Provides technical guidance and design direction to CAD Analysts. Demonstrates teamwork and communicates effectively. Develops documents and achieves product specifications for customers, regulatory, and technical requirements. Ensures delivery of project work to time, cost, and quality objectives. Work to develop individual goals/objectives to support the department goals. Personally demonstrate and drive the Rehlko Core Competencies. Requirements Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (ABET‑Accredited). 2+ years’ experience in electrical engineering, electronic systems and/or New Product Development (NPD) or Sustaining Product Development (SPD) experience. General knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) standards is a plus. Knowledge of any of the following is a plus: MATLAB, PSPICE, Simulink, OrCAD, C, C++, Python. The Salary range for this position is $83,300.00–$105,200.00. The specific Salary rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
