What You’ll Do As a Social Work Therapy Intern, you will work under the supervision of an independently licensed counselor or social worker to provide mental health services tailored to children and families. This is a hands-on role where you’ll gain experience in multiple settings and learn best practices in clinical care. Key Responsibilities: Conduct individual, group, and family therapy (agency-based and community-based) Develop treatment plans and facilitate interventions Complete diagnostic assessments and evaluate client progress Assist with crisis management and stabilization Maintain accurate documentation and reports Collaborate with internal teams and community resources Attend supervision and professional development trainings What We’re Looking For Current enrollment in a Master’s program in Social Work Certification SWT required Strong commitment to cultural awareness and best practice models Our Culture: Best Point Education & Behavioral Health is Greater Cincinnati’s most prolific non-profit specializing in education, behavioral and therapeutic health services and autism services for vulnerable, at-risk youth, their families, and caregivers.
