Project Manager

Our client is a leading Texas General Contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of an $80 million, 300-unit ground‑up multifamily development in Austin. This is a long‑term opportunity with a financially strong builder that continues to secure high‑profile multifamily projects throughout Central Texas. Project Manager – Multifamily Construction Location: Austin, TX Project: 300‑Unit Ground‑Up Multifamily Development Project Value: $80 Million Start Date: ASAP Responsibilities Lead the project from preconstruction through final turnover. Manage project budgets, forecasting, cost reports, and monthly financials. Develop and maintain the master project schedule alongside the Superintendent. Oversee subcontractor procurement, buyout, contract administration, and change orders. Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure project milestones are achieved. Ensure all work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Review RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and project documentation. Mentor Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers. Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications 5+ years of Project Management experience with a General Contractor. Proven experience delivering ground‑up multifamily projects valued at $40M+. Experience managing podium, wrap, or large garden‑style apartment communities. Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration. Proficient with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office. Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
