Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray for a night shift assignment requiring 2+ years of X-ray experience and ARRT certification.

Details

• Imaging Department in a 202-bed regional hospital
• Night shift, 10-hour shifts, with Sunday 7:30p-6a and Monday-Wednesday 8:30p-7a schedule
• 40 hours guaranteed per week
• Weekend requirement on Sundays only
• No on-call requirements
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• 2+ years of X-ray experience required
• Current ARRT certification required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Travel experience required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Perform a variety of imaging procedures under general supervision
• Operate and maintain imaging department equipment including X-ray machines
• Position patients and capture images as ordered by physicians
• Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients to ensure comfort and understanding
• Notify physicians of exam results in accordance with policies and regulations
• Matching scrubs required as part of dress code
• Candidates residing within 35 miles of the facility are considered local travelers
• No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested during the assignment
• Full-time McLaren employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment
