Color Mixer

Color Mixer Specialists tint and mix paint to customer specification. They also work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the right solutions. Color Mixer Specialists are also expected to stay up-to-date with product features and maintain the high quality and visual standards of the products and store. Color Mixer Specialists are tasked with achieving excellent customer service, while consistently meeting the store’s sales goals. The role is located at Store #2566, 196 Mayberry Mall, Mt Airy, NC 27030. It is a part‑time position, up to 28 hours per week, with a starting pay of $15.30 per hour. Key Responsibilities Prepare customers’ paint orders quickly and accurately Tint and mix products to customer specifications Prepare drawdowns for submittal to customers Clean, fill, and repair equipment as needed Maintain precise work order files and formulas Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse Stock shelves and set up displays Clean store equipment Load/unload delivery trucks Assist in making deliveries, as needed Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures Maintain in‑stock and presentable condition of assigned areas Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options Comply with inventory control procedures Suggest ways to improve sales Minimum Requirements At least eighteen (18) years of age Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future Physically able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion Willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation Preferred Qualifications Valid, unrestricted driver’s license High school diploma or GED At least one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service position Previous work experience selling paint and paint‑related products Previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish Equal Employment Opportunity Sherwin‑Williams is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
