Central Maine Healthcare is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Primary Care Physician to join its growing network of primary care providers serving the Lewiston-Auburn region. This position offers the opportunity to practice patient-centered medicine within an integrated healthcare system that includes a flagship 250-bed medical center, specialty services, and a large network of physicians and advanced practice providers.

Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Provide comprehensive preventive, acute, and chronic disease management
\n
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions
\n
• Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate patient care
\n
• Promote wellness and preventive health initiatives
\n
• Collaborate with specialists, nursing staff, and care management teams
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
\n
• Participate in quality improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives
\n

Qualifications

\n

\n
• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
\n
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
\n
• Eligible for Maine medical licensure
\n
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
\n
• Commitment to patient-centered, high-quality care
\n

Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $278,000 to $335,000. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
