Production Control Specialist

MCI Overview MCI is a 46‑year‑old industry leader in the design, manufacture, and assembly of electrical controls, electric enclosures, irrigation pumps, municipal and commercial pump stations, water purification systems and custom metal fabrication. We serve a wide range of industries with standard and custom products. Position Summary The Production Control Specialist plays a key role in ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for creating and managing production documentation, developing and maintaining schedules, and collaborating across departments to meet customer requirements and internal performance goals. Compensation $25 per hour Key Responsibilities Create, process, and manage production paperwork to provide manufacturing personnel with accurate and reliable work instructions. Develop and verify production schedules that align with customer requirements and internal objectives. Communicate schedule changes and production priorities clearly to cross‑functional teams. Proactively adjust production schedules to address delays, resource constraints, or changes in demand. Partner with the Master Scheduler to support company‑wide and departmental goals. Requirements Prior experience in scheduling, manufacturing, production control, or inventory control preferred. Strong ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities and production demands. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Proven ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative, team‑oriented environment. Proficiency with production planning systems or ERP software is a plus. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy. Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and resolve issues.
