Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage daily production operations during assigned shifts to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing output.
• Coordinate staffing schedules for production line employees and oversee batching, filling, packaging, and processing activities to meet operational goals.
• Provide hands-on leadership on the production floor by training operators, monitoring machine performance, and ensuring employees receive proper equipment training.
• Evaluate team performance, provide coaching and corrective guidance, and enforce workplace policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
• Troubleshoot production issues in real time and collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
• Oversee production line changeovers, ensuring proper setup for bottle sizes, packaging formats, coding accuracy, and raw material usage.
• Review and verify daily production reports to ensure accurate tracking of material usage, waste reduction, sanitation, quality checks, and operational compliance.
• Prepare end-of-shift reports documenting production output, equipment failures, attendance concerns, and factors affecting line performance.
• Respond effectively to workplace incidents, employee concerns, emergencies, and safety issues while maintaining clear communication with leadership and HR.
• Promote a strong safety culture by identifying and reporting unsafe conditions, equipment malfunctions, and workplace hazards.
• Maintain effective communication across departments to support smooth production flow and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), SQF, HACCP, LOTO, sanitation procedures, and workplace safety standards to maintain food safety and quality compliance.
• Maintain accurate, organized, and legible production documentation and records.
• Participate in ongoing training programs related to safety, equipment operation, manufacturing processes, and product handling.
• Perform additional operational and supervisory duties as assigned to support business objectives.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in food or beverage manufacturing environments.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Production Supervisor or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of production operations, food safety regulations, quality assurance, and team leadership.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 80% of the shift) and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physical activities including squatting, pushing/pulling, twisting, reaching, grasping, stooping, and repetitive motions.
• Experience operating pallet jacks and forklifts in a production or warehouse setting.
