Job Title: Cloud Data Engineer
Duration: 6 months with possible extension.
Location: Remote - need to Support EST business hours.


Top skills: Strong in SQL, Python, Airflow and AWS S3, EC2 (need with these skills)

Minimum 4- 8 years candidate will work.

Essential Job Functions
• Cloud Data Engineer will play a key role in the building, implementing and operations of our
new Data Pipeline
• You will be part of the team operating and migrating to this new state of the art data
pipeline
• Responsible for the quality and availability of all data in the new platform
• Part of the project team deploying the new platform and learning the new tools being
deployed
• Resolves data ingestion issues and is proactive in recommending long-term solutions to
prevent future issues
• Works with individual team members and their managers to optimize queries, ETL processes
and table schemas to meet end-user demands
• Responsible for maintaining documentation on new data sources, intermediate structures,
and any processing of core data
• Work closely with our end-users as part of a development team to evaluate requirements
and develop business intelligence and data warehousing solutions•
• Design and develop extract, transform, and load (ETL) mappings, procedures, and
schedules•
• Coordinate activities with data source application owners to ensure integration and data
integrity
• Ensure data management processes are consistent with Enterprise data models
• Identifies and recommends appropriate continuous improvement opportunities and ensures
integrations are automated and have proper exception handling
• Has a high accuracy rate and develops effective, defect free code
• Key team member of project team designing and deploying a ground up cloud data pipeline
