Systems Engineer - Level 5 | Lockheed Martin

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Systems Engineer - Level 5 to join the Skunk Works Communication, Navigation, and Identification (CNI) Systems team. In this role, you will be leading a technical team that performs engineering functions in support of subsystem design, development, and integration on a variety of CNI systems to include; communications systems, computers, and control and test equipment.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related STEM discipline or equivalent experience/combined education.

• Proven experience in systems engineering lifecycle, development, requirements decomposition, and application of processes and tools.

• Professional experience with design, development, and integration of advanced avionics and communications systems to include data links, inertial navigation and GPS, and other related avionics subsystems.

• Experience leading cross-functional technical teams.

• Must possess an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance (minimum).

• Experience with Earned Value Management System tools/concepts.

• Proven experience with supplier management.

• Experience with Military and/or Government programs.

• Ability to obtain DoD Top Secret/SCI Clearance.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $128,400 - $226,435. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
