Description Job Summary The District Attorney’s Office Division of Child Support Services is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Receptionist in our Hinesville Liberty County Office. This office is a “contract” office with the District Attorney’s Office through the Department of Human Services Division of Child Support Services. Child Support Service Officers maintain close interaction with Judges, law enforcement, and other officials. As such, excellent corporate communication skills (demeanor/speech/written) and a professional image are prerequisites. The Receptionist position offers an opportunity for an organized, methodical, self-motivated, results-oriented individual to work in a professional fast paced high volume legal environment. The successful candidate will work closely with team members, attorneys, and court personnel. Note: Georgia’s Division of Child Support Services program provides resources to ensure parental obligations for child support are met that will result in the wellbeing of children and the self-sufficiency of families. DCSS promotes family stability based on the fundamental rights and needs of children. Major Job Duties Performs a variety of clerical and administrative support functions and may enter data and/or process documents and records. Operates standard office equipment and uses Microsoft Office Suite and/or standard applications typically used in a corporate office environment to perform daily work assignments. Receives and properly distributes incoming mail and telephone communications. Processes and electronically scans child support payments that may be received. Additional professional responsibilities may be assigned. Requirements Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma (or GED) AND one (1) year of experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant/secretary in an office setting using Microsoft Suite. Schedule, Salary, and Benefits: This is a full-time position with an annual salary of $30,160.
