Maintenance Technician – Direct Hire

We are seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians for direct hire opportunities on all shifts. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, installing, repairing, and maintaining production machinery, mechanical equipment, and facility systems in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and the ability to work safely and independently.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain production machinery and mechanical equipment including motors, pneumatic tools, pistons, conveyors, and automated equipment.
• Analyze machine errors, test results, and operator feedback to diagnose equipment malfunctions.
• Observe machinery in operation to identify causes of mechanical or electrical issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manufacturer manuals.
• Use testing and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot machinery and electrical systems.
• Dismantle and rebuild machinery and machine components as needed.
• Inspect parts for defects, wear, and functionality.
• Clean, lubricate, and adjust machinery and control instruments.
• Install and troubleshoot electrical equipment and controls.
• Program and enter codes into computer-controlled machinery when required.
• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Weld, fabricate, and repair metal parts and equipment as needed.
• Reassemble and test machinery after repairs are completed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and repair documentation.
• Order and track replacement parts and maintenance supplies.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
• Assist with building and grounds maintenance as requested.
• Respond to emergency maintenance issues during off shifts when necessary.
• Follow all company safety procedures and policies.

Qualifications:

• Previous industrial maintenance experience required.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with production and manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Familiarity with PLCs and automated equipment is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical or vocational training preferred.
• Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving machinery, dust, and varying temperatures.
