Position Overview LN is currently seeking an experienced Construction Survey Party Chief to support a mining project based near Las Vegas, Nevada . This role is ideal for a motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced, field-driven environment and is confident managing survey crews, equipment, and project deliverables. The successful candidate must be comfortable working outdoors for extended periods and in remote project environments. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise survey crews on active mining/construction sites Perform construction layout, topographic surveys, and as-built surveys Operate and manage Trimble GPS and Robotic Total Station equipment Ensure accuracy and quality control of survey data and deliverables Maintain detailed field notes and survey records Communicate effectively with Project Managers, clients, and team members Ensure compliance with all HSE policies and site safety requirements Manage and maintain assigned survey equipment and vehicles Support project planning and daily coordination of field activities Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of experience in construction or mining surveying Previous experience as a Survey Party Chief or Crew Chief Strong experience with Trimble equipment (GPS & Robotic Total Station) – required Experience working on mining or large-scale earthworks projects Diploma in Geomatics, Surveying, or Civil Engineering Technology (preferred) Ability to work in remote locations and physically demanding environments Certifications & Requirements Must be legally eligible to work in the United States Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record First Aid Certification MSHA certification (required or willingness to obtain prior to start) OSHA 10 certification (required; OSHA 30 considered an asset) Experience working in regulated safety environments What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience LOA (Living Out Allowance) provided Rotational schedule (14 on / 7 days off) supporting work-life balance Opportunity to work on a high-profile mining project Career growth within a rapidly expanding company How to Apply If you’re a driven survey professional looking to take the next step in your career, we’d love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
