Lead Packer- 1st, 2nd, & 3rd shift

What We Are Looking For!

Shift hours - 1st shift 6:00am-2:30pm Monday - Friday with overtime on Saturdays; 2nd shift 2:00pm-10:30pm Monday - Friday with overtime on Saturdays; 3rd shift 10:00pm - 6:30am Sunday - Thursday with overtime on Friday nights.

• Have the responsibility and authority to stop production to correct quality problems.
• Perform required quality testing identify out-of-spec conditions and notify the Press Operator of any necessary adjustments or corrections.
• Inspect finished goods to verify compliance with quality standards including part weight thickness and dimensions in accordance with Pack-Cat specifications.
• Perform and document first and last piece inspections as required.
• Print verify and apply finished goods (FG) labels to packaged product containers.
• Assist production line operators in identifying and resolving quality related issues.
• Assist in coordinating the daily activities of production helpers to ensure work is performed safely efficiently and in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Monitor production activities to support adherence to established production schedules.
• Assist with training new production employees   on job responsibilities standard operating procedures (SOPs) work instructions (WIs) quality standards and safety requirements. 
• Perform Press Operator duties as needed when qualified and authorized.
• Maintain accurate daily production records and submit completed production log sheets to the Supervisor.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely climb ladders as required to perform job duties.
• Comply with all company policies safety regulations standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions (WIs).
• Perform other duties as assigned by management. 

Qualifications :

What Will You Bring!

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferably involving quality inspection and product measurement.
• Basic knowledge of quality control procedures and inspection techniques.
• Basic mathematical skills and the ability to accurately measure and verify specifications.
• Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings specifications and work instructions.
• Basic computer skills including the ability to enter and maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Strong communication problem-solving and organization skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and support daily production activities.
• Ability to assist with training an guiding production employees while promoting safety quality and productivity.
