PT - Physical Therapist

Job Details:

• Day shift schedule
• Report time at 8:00 AM
• 36 weekly guaranteed hours
• Patient ratio of 6 patients to 1 therapist
• 36-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations including neurological and CVA patients
• Common diagnoses and treatments include CVA, amputee, and orthopedic conditions
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Experience with adults required; orthopedic and neurological experience preferred but not required
• Required certifications: PT license
• No float requirements
• No call requirements
• Equipment used includes standard rehab equipment, Ekso NR, and REAL VR
• EHR system: UDS ProDoc
• Scrub color: Black

This inpatient rehabilitation hospital is located in northwest Oklahoma City and provides specialized rehabilitation services for patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions. The facility is uniquely designed to promote recuperation outside a traditional hospital setting and features state-of-the-art therapy gymnasiums with high-tech devices including robotic arm therapy and virtual reality treatment options. Additional amenities include a low stimulation and secured unit with monitored rooms, specialized beds, patient lifts, dedicated therapy and dining areas, practice apartments for daily living tasks, private family-friendly rooms, and an outdoor healing garden and walking trail.
