Resources for Human Development (RHD) is a nonprofit organization with over 115 human service programs across the country and serving tens of thousands of people with effective programs supporting intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral health, homelessness, addiction recovery, and more. RHD Ocean County RIST is a residential intensive support team that provides the services needed to maintain independent living with community integration for individuals experiencing homelessness, chemical dependence and/or mental illness. Issues such as chemical dependence, mental health, homelessness, family reunification, and education/vocational needs may be addressed. RHD Ocean County RIST fosters a nurturing atmosphere of trust, support, independence, and safety. It is a program that facilitates growth by building trust between the staff and the consumers. Staff will be available around the clock to provide consumers with individual support and attention. The goal is to support and encourage the development of life skills required to sustain successful living in the community. Your responsibilities may include: Therapy Conduct intake assessments including recommendations for treatment Provide individual, group and family therapies to people with mental health and substance abuse issues. Caseload management Maintain active caseload including engaging individuals in ongoing treatment. Maintain tracking system for treatment plans, and other required documents to meet program funder guidelines and program goals. Participate in clinical group meetings regarding ongoing treatment goals, progress and discharge as needed. Administrative Enter documentation into electronic medical records in accordance with agency guidelines. Provide supervision to non-licensed therapists, counselors and other staff as needed to support state requirements for licensing. Who We're Looking For You may be a great fit if you are: Compassionate Dependable Patient Team-Oriented Service-Focused Professional Positive Committed to Helping Others Qualifications Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a human service field. State license is required (LPC, LMSW, LISW) as specified in the addendum based on program licensing/funder requirements. Familiar with standard business computer software programs and electronic Health Care Database programs. ACT 33/34 clearances if required by program FBI clearance, as needed All trainings required by licensure Preferred Qualifications Prior Experience working as a Therapist in outpatient IIC and or Residential Setting Experience in working closely with a clinical team/ MDT Schedule Full-Time Start a Career with Purpose Some jobs pay the bills.
