Summary Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc., makers of Yellawood brand Pressure Treated Pine, is seeking a Supervisor. This position will direct production and distribution operations for a plant shift, including managing production personnel, production performance, and employee safety. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and a full benefits package. Coordinates production, distribution, warehousing, and shipping of products per company policies, principles, and procedures established by the Plant Manager. Ensures employee safety and compliance with governing regulatory agencies, including OSHA and EPA. Oversees housekeeping of plant facilities and equipment during shift operations. Maintains positive employee relations and compliance with employment policies and regulations. Education and/or Experience: Associate's degree with two (2) years related supervisory experience and/or training in the wood treating or lumber industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
