City/State South Boston, VA Work Shift Third (Nights) Overview: Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital is seeking a full time night shift CT Technologist. Sign on Bonus Up to $30,000 Overview Provide quality Computed Tomography (CT) Imaging to patients under the direction of a supervising physician with adherence to the required protocol standards. Performs Computed Tomography (CT) per protocol under the direction of a qualified physician; provides patient and family education; operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. Follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines. Administration of CT Contrast per protocol. Performs Computed Tomography (CT) under the direction of a qualified physician. Perform CT Technologist I responsibilities with addition of one of the following: Intervention, Dual modality CT/Diag or Hospital Based/Standing ED). Education Trade School Radiology program Certification/Licensure ARRT Required upon hire Must obtained ARRT (CT) advanced registry within 2 years of hire.
