Job Description
Title: CVOR RN - Cardiovascular Operating Room

Schedule:
- Call required: Yes
- Weekend coverage: Required; up to 2 weekend shifts per month
- Holiday requirement: Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays

Assignment Details:
- Orientation: 36 hours
- Patient ratios: 1:1 (days, nights, weekends)

Requirements:
- License: Valid RN license required
- Certifications: BCLS required; ACLS preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in CVOR or cardiac surgery; 2 years preferred
- Charting: Experience with Epic preferred
- Unit-specific skills:
- Cardiac surgical experience (CABG, valve procedures, MAZE, ASD repair)
- TAVR exposure and standby in Cath Lab
- Blood/cell-saver management and administration of blood products
- Sterile technique and wound management
- Specimen handling
- Universal time-out
- Radiation and laser safety

Compliance / Notes:
- RTO requests: Must be included at time of submission; limit total to 2 requests
- Disclosure: Must disclose any license or background issues upfront
- References: 2 references covering 1 year of work within the last 3 years required
- Pre-start modules: Typically ~16 hours completed pre-start
