Logistics and Spare Parts Refurbishment Technician

Our client, a leading organization in logistics and equipment management, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics and Spare Parts Refurbishment Technician to join their team. As a vital member of the logistics support department, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient handling, testing, and redeployment of equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Logistics and Spare Parts Refurbishment Technician

Location: Livonia, MI

Pay Range: $35

Shift: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Schedule all freight pickups and redeployments to ensure timely delivery and deployment of equipment
• Follow up on cancellation pickups and coordinate logistics adjustments as needed
• Support the shipping depot for vending spare parts when required
• Test, clean, and redeploy MSC vending equipment to maintain operational readiness
• Diagnose and replace failed parts, scrap equipment that cannot be redeployed, and stage outbound crates and equipment for shipment

What's Needed?

• Experience in logistics scheduling and management
• Proficiency with computer systems and multitasking across multiple projects
• Warehouse experience with mechanical background preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Attention to detail, excellent time management, and adaptability to changing workloads
