Interventions led by the Executive Director, Medical Director, or the Health Education Program Manager, may include the timely development of communication campaigns that effectively reach monolingual, non-English speaking communities, and/or participating in coordinating media coverages, creating digital and print materials in plain language, and participating in organizational meetings with stakeholders to understand toxicological issues affecting our community. Incumbent must be able to multitask and reprioritize, to participate during applicable public health emergencies in a timely fashion to effectively offer critical prevention and education services to Californians. The Health Education Program Coordinator is an experienced educator who can work independently. To develop a robust Health Education Program, the Health Education Program Coordinator will help evaluate prospective program partners to help expand the reach of the program, and when applicable, integrate program components into existing and new partnerships.
