We are looking for a warehouse supervisor in Fresno, CA to lead the daily shipping, receiving, and cold-storage operations. The role focuses on food safety, inventory accuracy, and team management to ensure perishable goods (such as meats) are properly tracked and shipped.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, rotation, and storage of incoming perishable goods (e.g., meats) according to date and lot numbers
• Shipping & Receiving: Verify product quantities and inspect for damages. Prepare and dispatch outgoing orders to ensure on-time delivery.
• Food Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict sanitation, temperature control, and cleanliness standards in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Team Leadership: Train, schedule, and supervise warehouse staff. Maintain a safe and productive working environment.
• Record Keeping: Utilize warehouse tracking software and RF scanners to maintain accurate data.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Typically 2–4 years of progressive experience in warehouse operations, ideally in the food processing or cold-storage industry.
• Equipment: Forklift certification and the ability to operate standard warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, etc.).
• Physical Demands: Ability to work in cold environments (freezers/coolers) and lift, push, or pull heavy items.
• Soft Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to navigate a fast-paced environment.
