Number of Positions: 1 Work Schedule: 8 am – 5 pm Work Days: Monday – Friday Job Description The Office of Labor Affairs seeks a Spanish Legal Analyst to assist with monitoring, implementation, and support activities related to labor violations. Responsibilities include receiving, cataloging, analyzing notes and files, conducting interviews, research, and providing recommendations on reports and allegations of violations, including those filed by the public such as workers, unions, and businesses. The analyst will support labor and trade enforcement efforts. Tasks may vary frequently, including but not limited to: Conduct worker interviews in Spanish Organize and share notes from interviews Research electronically and manually on identified topics Review relevant documents Draft memoranda summarizing research and interviews Translate research findings between Spanish and English Assist with creating and updating case logs Manage electronic files and case records Review, summarize, and prepare documents Provide oral reports on work conducted Qualifications Fluent in both English and Spanish B.A. or B.S. in a related field (business, economics, labor relations, sociology, history, Latin American studies, etc.) Minimum three years of experience in legal, labor, policy, or trade environments Exposure to labor issues Background in legal research and analysis Aalis Management Consulting is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
