Title: Consumer Product Education/Content ManagerSalary: $115,000-$118,000 depending on experience Location: Fully remote, with the ability to travel to the office approximately once per quarter as neededWork Authorization: Candidates must be currently located in the United States and authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship (sponsorship is unavailable for this position) Tuesdays are typically when Product Development is onsite for collaboration, but there are no fixed onsite days.Some weeks may require no office time, while others may require attendance based on business needs.The Planet Group is seeking a Consumer Product Education/Content Manager to support our client in the direct selling and consumer goods (kitchen & home) industry. In this role, you will help drive revenue by developing engaging product education, training materials, marketing content, and product use and care resources that empower consumers to better understand and maximize the value of the company's products.Consumer Product Education/Content Manager Responsibilities: Assist in creation of user-friendly Use & Care Information.Develop the product-based and marketing content for all product training including proper Use & Care information for all new and existing products.Partner with Training team to turn content into LMS courses and other training vehicles.Develop product marketing plans to support new launches and promotional use of existing items, to include videos, web content, photography needs and recipe development.Partner with Creative team for content development and with Digital/Social teams for content deployment.In addition to the essential functions listed above, the incumbent may be required to perform other non-essential functions. Employees are required to follow any other job-related instructions and to perform any other job-related duties requested by their supervisor.Consumer Product Education/Content Manager Qualifications: Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing.3-5+ years of housewares experience/consumer goods. 1-2+ years of training content experience.Marketing experience, and/or brand or product management.Direct Sales preferred, not required.Skills & Proficiencies Proven track record of supporting and leading marketing projects.Strong team/project, communications and presentation skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is required.LMS preferred but not required.Bi-lingual Required: Spanish/English (written/spoken). Must be fully bilingual, culturally sensitive, and to be able to understand the sensitivities of cultures.Competencies & Abilities Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional publications and business information.Ability to write reports and effectively present information as well as respond to questions from managers throughout the organization.Working Conditions & Requirements Will use a computer, keyboard, monitor and mouse regularly.Travel requirement: 10% to as required to support business needs.Remote/Hybrid position with travel to home office based on business need.At home setting is required to ensure comfort and privacy for sensitive information.
