Job Description
- Create Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and design personalized therapy approaches to help them reach their functional objectives.
- Implement Effective Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based practices to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and daily living skills.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to provide holistic and comprehensive care.
- Guide Patients and Their Families: Equip patients and caregivers with knowledge about therapy strategies that support continuous progress at home.
- Track and Assess Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients continue to advance in their recovery.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Encouragement and support for ongoing education or post-graduate certifications.
- Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required.
- A heartfelt commitment to helping others achieve their highest levels of autonomy.
- Effective and compassionate communication skills to connect with patients and team members alike.
