Housekeeping Duties and Responsibilities:

The Housekeeping is responsible for the following:

· Cleaning common areas of the facility and Resident rooms

· Maintains a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas

· Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times

· Removal of trash & soiled linens. Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds

· Housekeeper must be able to learn how to operate commercial laundry equipment

· Must be able to work as a team member with other Housekeepers assigned to the facility

· Solid work ethic with initiative for quality and customer service

· Remain positive and caring, and act in the best interest of our patients

· Report any observed area in poor repair to supervisor

Housekeeping Qualifications and Experience:

All Housekeepers must be experienced at cleaning with a keen eye for details

Must be Reliable and Keep to a Schedule

May Need to Work a Varied Schedule, as requested

Healthcare or Commercial Laundry: 1 year (Preferred)

Healthcare or Commercial Housekeeping: 1 year (Preferred)
