Executive Management Fellow - WashU Medicine

The Executive Management Fellowship is a two-year program providing a unique opportunity to contribute to and learn from a nationally ranked academic medical institution, where the nation’s leading doctors and patients advance human health beyond today’s limits by connecting the power of care, education and research. The Executive Management Fellowship is designed for emerging leaders who are inspired by the mission of academic medicine: advancing groundbreaking biomedical research, educating the next generation of physicians and scientists, and supporting exceptional clinical care. Fellows join teams and leaders across WashU Medicine in a range of administrative roles, contributing to the administrative work supporting outstanding faculty while also strengthening the systems and processes that enable the institution to function and evolve in a complex, mission-driven environment. Fellows engage in many management activities and projects pertaining to strategic partnerships with WashU Medicine’s hospital partners and affiliated healthcare system. Through mentorship, hands‑on experience and leadership development, the fellowship prepares individuals to build impactful careers within academic medical centers — equipping them to lead with clarity and purpose. The Executive Management Fellowship considers applicants who have earned a master’s degree from an accredited MHA, MBA, MPH or MSHA program.
