Quality Assurance Technician – Quality Assurance Tech I Job #3041087 Location: North Reading, Massachusetts (Onsite) Compensation: $26 – $36 hourly Role Overview We are seeking a detail‑oriented and driven Quality Assurance Technician to join a Hardware Test Engineering team. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and a natural problem‑solver who takes ownership of their work. In this role, you will collaborate with Hardware Developers, Product Managers, and Quality Engineers to uphold the integrity of production and development environments. You will also play a critical role in maturing foundation models by conducting extensive manual Teleoperation sessions to collect high‑quality, real‑world task data. Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance, repair, and calibration of test equipment and fixtures. Set up and execute tests, experiments, and verification activities for system components. Conduct manual TeleOp sessions to collect large volumes of task data for training and maturing foundation models. Support environmental testing efforts including vibration and thermal testing. Assist in the creation of test cases and test plans and maintain and update existing test documentation. Collect, analyze, and report test data and contribute to formal test reports. Provide structured feedback to cross‑functional teams to drive quality improvements. Partner with internal teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and process issues. Support design and test engineers during prototype builds and development phases. Handle confidential information with professionalism, integrity, and discretion. Required Qualifications Education: Associate's degree or equivalent. Experience: 2 to 4 years of industry experience in software and electro‑mechanical testing, with a minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience as a Hardware Technician. Technical Skills: Strong electro‑mechanical aptitude with familiarity in tools and measurement devices; solid computer skills with the ability to work with test software and data systems. About The Team The Quality Assurance Technician serves as a central point of contact within the Hardware Test Engineering Team, providing support to Mechanical, Electrical, Software, and Automation teams. Responsibilities include test plan execution, test fixture assembly support, data analysis, and maintenance of active test floors, ensuring the team delivers consistent results.
