• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 - $1,770

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in Texas or a compact state
• At least 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience or related acute care nursing experience
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Current AHA ACLS certification required
• Current AHA PALS certification required
• Current TNCC certification required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
• Experience in emergency care, trauma nursing, or clinical support in a fast-paced hospital environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide routine and complex nursing care to Emergency Department patients
• Perform comprehensive assessments, develop nursing care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments according to established hospital protocols
• Monitor patients for treatment response, side effects, and changes in condition
• Document patient history, symptoms, interventions, and care provided in the medical record
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up needs
• Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to promote safe patient flow
• Follow Emergency Department competencies, standards, and organizational guidelines
