Are you a Quality Technician or Inspector looking to take the step up into Supplier Quality, looking for a role where you can take ownership of supplier performance and drive quality improvements across a critical supply base?

On offer is the chance to join a leading manufacturing business where you will play a key role in strengthening supplier relationships, improving product quality, and ensuring on-time delivery performance across a diverse supplier network, with further progression through to Directorship.

This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with suppliers in a highly technical environment, conducting audits, reviewing inspection data, and ensuring compliance with manufacturing standards.

In this role, you will be responsible for supplier quality development, conducting on-site audits and inspections, reviewing material certifications and first article reports, and driving corrective actions.

This role would suit a hands-on Quality Technician or Quality Inspector wanting to transition into a customer centric role with strong knowledge of fabrication processes, blueprint reading, and inspection methodologies, looking for the opportunity to work directly with suppliers and travel locally to support performance improvements.

The Role:

• Manage supplier quality performance across a network of manufacturing and fabrication suppliers
• Conduct supplier audits, inspections, and on-boarding to ensure compliance with company standards
• Review material certifications and first article inspections

The Person:

• Experience as Supplier Quality or Quality Technician / Inspector
• Strong understanding of blueprints, weld symbols, technical drawings, and inspection processes
• Confident working directly with suppliers, including conducting audits
• Willing to travel locally (approx. 100-mile radius) to supplier sites as required
