We are currently looking for a Dental Hygienist in Big Spring, TX. This role is situated within a federal correctional setting.

Compensation: $50.00 per hour.

Sign-on Bonus: $1,500.

Location: 1900 Simler Drive, Big Spring, TX 79720.

Work Schedule: Up to 40 hours per week, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Dental Hygienist, you will perform a variety of services, including but not limited to the following:

• Administer dental prophylaxis for inmates referred by dental staff.
• Deliver personalized oral hygiene education to each patient.
• Assess and monitor the oral hygiene and periodontal health of patients receiving dental prophylaxis.
• Conduct necessary dental x-rays as directed by the dentist.
• Ensure sterilization of instruments used for prophylaxis and other specified tools.
• Complete required documentation related to patient scheduling for dental prophylaxis as instructed by dental staff.

Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must hold a valid certification or license as a Dental Hygienist in any U.S. state or commonwealth.
