Senior Project Manager (Water/Wastewater)

Your Impact We are looking for an experienced and collaborative Senior Water/Wastewater Project Manager who will build strategic business partnerships and deliver high‑profile projects with key municipal clients across the Southeast and beyond. This position will report out of the Louisville office. The role requires a driven individual who can integrate into our teams, understand client organizations and processes, and work with our teams to deliver and enhance our clients' organizational structure. You will train technical teams as they transform organizationally to integrate digital solutions and work to tackle industry challenges. You will develop and maintain consistent relationships at all organizational levels, ensuring that Jacobs is the consultant‑of‑choice for our clients. Your people management and organizational leadership skills will optimize team performance and consistently deliver high‑quality technical solutions. You will play a leadership role in delivering solutions for clients, including client relationship development, project‑specific positioning activities, teaming arrangements, proposal preparation, and oral presentations consistent with established business development processes. Contribute to the Water Market Strategy that delivers leading‑edge technology solutions for our clients while actively diversifying and expanding our client base. Requirements B.S. or M.S. degree in a related engineering or applicable discipline. 20 years of progressively responsible experience with Water/Wastewater Treatment and/or Conveyance projects and municipal consulting. Professional Engineer (PE) license. Strong understanding of clients, organizational structures, and a proven history of leading project delivery teams to successfully meet client expectations. Excellent oral and written communication, self‑motivation, team‑oriented work practices, strong data analysis and technical problem‑solving, and a strong organizational approach. Proven track record in developing and maintaining strong client relationships that result in the creation and procurement of new and repeat consulting work. Effective interpersonal relationship building, conflict resolution, and leading diverse teams. Benefits & Compensation Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
